Description

Chesapeake Operating Inc. has completed two extended-reach horizontal Mississippi Lime producers from an Anadarko Basin pad in Section 16-20n-12w in Major County, Okla. The #1H Citra 9&4-20-12 was tested on artificial lift initially producing 508 bbl of 38-degree-gravity crude, 2 MMcf of gas and 2.287 Mbbl of water daily. The Okeene Northwest Field venture was drilled 2 miles north across Section 9 and bottomed in Section 4-20n-12w. It was acidized and fracture-stimulated at 8,182-18,661 ft and drilled to 18,785 ft with a true vertical depth of 7,790 ft. About 30 ft east on the pad, #2H Citra 9&4-20-12 was completed in a parallel lateral producing 445 bbl of oil, 2.9 MMcf of gas and 2.16 Mbbl of water daily through treated perforations between 8,253 and 18,725 ft. It was drilled to 18,839 ft, 7,807 ft true vertical, and it bottomed in Section 4-20n-12w. Chesapeake is based in Oklahoma City.
