Drilling Activity Summary

Description

Whitebark Energy and operator Point Loma Resources will spud two exploration wells on their jointly held acreage in Alberta targeting 70 MMboe. The first well will be #1 Wizard Lake Rex, a horizontal well to be drilled into a mapped area of Rex Sands. Nearby oil production is about 12 km to the northeast from deeper Devonian Leduc reservoirs, which were completed in the 1950-60s. The venture will be drilled vertically to approximately 1,500 m with a true vertical depth of 1,200 m. The second well to be drilled is #1 Lower Mannville Wildwood Ostracod. Nearby wells have confirmed oil and gas production in Ostracod and the Paddle River Field about 20 km to the northeast. The well has a planned depth of 1,750 m, 1,200 m true vertical. Calgary-based Point Loma Resources is the operator of the two wells with 70% interest in partnership with Whitebark Energy holding the remaining 30%.
