Description

Two more horizontal San Andres producers have been completed by Raptor Petroleum Development LLC in Ector County (RRC Dist. 8), Texas. The Jordan Field discoveries are on the Central Basin Platform of the Permian Basin. The #281H Connell was tested on pump for 347 bbl of 33-degree-gravity crude, 109,000 cu ft of gas and 3.155 bbl of water per day from acid- and fracture-treated perforations at 3,999-8,494 ft. The well is in Section 28, Block B16, PSL Survey, A-870 and it was drilled to 8,590 ft (3,594 ft true vertical) and the lateral bottomed about 1 mile to the north-northwest in Section 25. About one-half mile to the west-southwest, #291H Connell pumped 121 bbl of 28-degree-gravity oil and 3,829 bbl of water daily. Treated perforations are at 3,655-8,471 ft. It was drilled to 8,547 ft (3,641 ft true vertical) from a surface location in Section 29, Block B16, PSL Survey, A-869. It bottomed about 1 mile to the north-northwest in Section 24.
