Description

BPX Operating completed two Eagle Ford-Eagleville Field wells in Karnes County (RRC Dist. 2) Texas. The wells were drilled from a single drillpad in Ramona Musquiz Survey, A-7. The #7H Gallo Rojo A was drilled to 16,222 ft and the true vertical depth is 10,904 ft. It flowed 2,877 bbl of 42° API oil, 2.422 MMcf of gas and 1,126 bbl of water per day. Tested on a 35/64-inch choke, the flowing tubing pressure was 990 psi and the flowing casing pressure was 480 psi. Production is from perforations at 11,647-16,075 ft. The offsetting #8H Gallo Rojo A was drilled to 15,995 ft (10,901 ft true vertical). It produced 3,018 bbl of oil, 2.22 MMcf of gas and 363 bbl of water per day from perforations at 11,554-15,841 ft. Gauged on a 37/64-inch choke, the flowing casing pressure was 86 psi and the flowing tubing pressure was 731 psi. Houston-based BPX Operating is a subsidiary of BP.
