Description

Halcon Resources Inc. has completed two horizontal Eagle Ford Shale-Aquila Vado Field wells in Brazos County (RRC Dist. 3), Texas. The #1H Hullabaloo produced 617 bbl of 41.1-degree-gravity oil, 464 Mcf of gas and 682 bbl of water per day through fractured perforations at 8,594-15,147 ft. It was tested on an 18/64-in. choke with a flowing tubing pressure of 1,250 psi and flowing casing pressure of 442 psi. The discovery is in James Curtis Jr. Survey, A-12, and bottomed more than a mile to the southeast. Offsetting #1H Hullabaloo is #1H Midnight Yell. The 14,660-ft venture has a true vertical depth of 7,901 ft. It flowed 616 bbl of 41.8-degree-gravity oil, 361 Mcf of gas and 664 bbl of water per day. Production is from fracture-treated perforations at 8,608-14,561 ft. The flowing tubing pressure was 1,167 psi when tested on an 18/64-in. choke. It bottomed about a mile to the southeast. Halcon's headquarters are in Houston.
