Drilling Activity Summary

Description

Two high-volume Bone Spring producers were completed by Centennial Resource Production in southern Lea County, N.M. on the Carlsbad Shelf of the Permian Basin, #602H Chorizo 12 State Com flowed 3,521 bbl of 42-degree-gravity oil, 2.365 MMcf of gas and 5,684 bbl of water daily. Fracture-treated perforations are at 11,476-21,213 ft in Third Bone Spring. According to IHS Markit, the production volumes have been split between Grama Ridge Northeast Field (2,647 bbl of oil and 1.78 MMcf of gas per day) and Ojo Chiso Field (874 bbl of oil and 587,000 cu ft of gas daily). The well was drilled to 21,273 ft (11,290 ft true vertical) in Section 36-21s-34e. The lateral bottomed within 2 miles to the south in Section 12-22s-34e. The offsetting #603Y Chorizo 12 State Com, a replacement for the abandoned #603H Chorizo 12 State Com, has also been completed in both fields. It produced 3,932 bbl of oil, 4.061 MMcf of gas and 7,786 bbl of water from Third Bone Spring at 11,499-20,260 ft. Attributed to Grama Ridge Northeast Field was 2,956 bbl of oil and 3.05 MMcf of gas per day, while 976 bbl of oil and 1.01 MMcf of gas daily was placed in Ojo Chiso Field. It was drilled to 20,318 ft and the true vertical depth is 11,298 ft. Centennial Resource is based in Denver.
