Hess Corp. completed two Blue Buttes Field-Middle Bakken wells from a drillpad in Section 5-151n-95w in McKenzie County, N.D. The #151-95-0817H-4 BB-Federal was drilled to the south to 21,045 ft with a true vertical depth of 10,696 ft. It was tested flowing 3.969 Mbbl of oil, 5.828 MMcf of gas and 1.467 Mbbl of water per day after fracturing. Tested on a 36/64-in. choke, the flowing tubing pressure was 2,484 psi and production is from perforations at 10,884-21,045 ft. The #151-95-0817H-6 BB-Federal produced 3.957 Mbbl of oil, 6.015 MMcf of gas and 1.399 Mbbl of water per day and was drilled to 20,932 ft, 10,670 ft true vertical, and bottomed in Section 15. Hess is based in New York City.
