Description
In McKenzie County, N.D., two Middle Bakken completions were reported by Dallas-based Petro-Hunt LLC. The #153-95-17D-7-3H Klevmoen Trust was drilled in Section 17-153n-95 and flowed 1,524 bbl of 45° API oil per day during testing on an 18/64-nch choke. Located in Charlson Field, it was drilled to a total depth of 17,065 ft and the true vertical depth is 10,167 ft. Production is from a perforated zone at 10,655-16,384 ft. The offsetting #153-95-17D-7-3H Klevmoen Trust was drilled to 22,239 ft, 10,308 ft true vertical. It produced 246 bbl of 45° API oil, 375,000 cu ft of gas and 406 bbl of water daily from perforations at 16,384-22,065 ft. It was tested on an 18/64-inch choke and the flowing tubing pressure was 1,200 psi.
