Jones Energy Inc., based in Austin, completed two Anadarko Basin-Merge play horizontal producers in Section 32-12n-6w in Canadian County, Okla. The #2H Bone 32-12-6 had a peak flow rate of 1.878 Mboe/d (54% oil, 46% gas and NGL) from a treated 4,375-ft Meramec lateral. Other details are currently unavailable for the 13,920-ft El Reno Southeast Field prospect, which was drilled with a north lateral. About 20 ft west on the pad, #1H Bone flowed 755 boe/d (63% oil on a three-stream basis) from Woodford in the 4,322-ft interval. It was drilled with a northwest trending parallel lateral extending to an estimated 14,037 ft. Jones defines the Merge play as the Meramec extension from the Stack area to the north meeting the Upper Woodford extension from the Scoop to the south.
