Description

EP Energy Corp. reported two Wasatch completions in the Altamont-Bluebell complex of the Uinta Basin in Duchesne County, Utah. The #1-23C5 White is in Section 23-3s-5w and it is flowing 999 bbl of oil, 1.063 MMcf of gas and 498 bbl of water per day. The 11,357-ft well has a true vertical depth of 11,349 ft and was tested in eight acidized and fractured Wasatch intervals between 8,767 and 11,233 ft. It was tested a 20/64-in. choke with a tubing pressure of 1,698 psi. To the northeast in Section 15-3s-4w, #4-15C4 Cahal initially flowed 542 bbl of oil, 537 Mcf of gas and 810 bbl of water per day. Production is from a Wasatch interval at 9,334-11,705 ft following an eight-stage fracturing after drilling and casing the well to 11,836 ft. Tested on a 20/64-in. choke, the tubing pressure was 1,450 psi. The true vertical depth is 11,752 ft.
