Thunder Basin Resources LLC completed an extended-reach horizontal Turner test on the southeastern flank of the Powder River Basin that initially pumped 137 bbl of oil with 100 Mcf of gas and 350 bbl of water per day. The #1-12H Hanson-Fee is in Section 12-40n-64w of Niobrara County, Wyo. It was drilled southwestward to 10,500 ft, 4,487 ft true vertical and bottomed in Section 13-40n-64w. It was tested following 27-stage fracturing between 4,995 and 10,500 ft. Thunder Basin is based in Denver.
