Tri-C Resources Inc. has completed a horizontal oil producer in Fayette County (RRC Dist. 3), Texas. The #1H Kainer flowed 949 bbl of 41.7-degree-gravity crude, 505 Mcf of gas and 830 bbl of water per day. The Southern Bay Field well is producing from acid- and fracture-treated perforations in the Eagle Ford Shale at 11,403-19,926 ft. It is on a 905-acre upper Texas Coast lease in Section 13, Miguel Muldon Survey, A-75, and it bottomed about 2 miles to the northwest in Section 5, Benjamin Green Survey, A-49. The 20,207-ft completion has a true vertical depth of 10,420 ft. Before drilling the horizontal portion of the well, the company drilled an 11,278-ft vertical pilot hole. Tri-C’s headquarters are in Houston.
