Drilling Activity Summary

Description

A Lower Montney discovery in British Columbia, #6W D05-5-80-15, was tested during a 30-day period flowing 1.426 Mboe/d and is currently producing 577 boe/d (2.4 MMcf of gas and 173 bbl of condensate). According to Tourmaline Oil Corp., the discovery is in the liquids-rich Lower Montney Turbidite lobe in its Dawson DOE area. The Calgary-based company drilled 10 horizontal delineation wells since 2014. Tourmaline also has 3-D seismic data for the Montney Turbidite horizon. Depending upon the ultimate pace of development, the company estimates that the Lower Turbidite development project could add 75 to 100 MMcf/d of gas production and 7.5 to 10 Mbbl/d of condensate to its current five-year development outlook.
