Drilling Activity Summary

Description

Touchstone Exploration has completed drilling exploration well #1-Chinook on the Ortoire exploration block in Trinidad. It was drilled to 10,039 ft to test a separate structural formation south of the Cascadura gas discovery. Drilling samples and open-hole wireline logs indicated that well hit a Herrera turbidite package with a total thickness of 2,000 ft with more than 1,480 ft of sand. Testing also showed that these sands contain an aggregate 589 net ft of gas pay in three unique zones. The well encountered 341 net ft of hydrocarbon pay in Gr7a section of Herrera Sands at 8,154-8,710 ft. Approximately 180 net ft of hydrocarbon pay was identified in the Gr7bc section of Herrera Sands at 8,850-9,750 ft. About 68 net ft of hydrocarbon pay was identified in the Gr7bc section at 9,750-10,003 ft. An additional 20 net ft of hydrocarbon pay was identified in Cruse at 2,996-3,021 ft and indicates a new discovery that was not observed in offsetting well data. Completion and testing of the well is planned for the first quarter of 2021. Calgary-based operator Touchstone has an 80% working interest and Heritage Petroleum Co. holds a 20% working interest.
