Description

In Winker County (RRC Dist. 8), Texas, Shell Oil Co. announced results from three Phantom Field completions. The Delaware Basin wells were drilled from a pad in UL Survey, A-U34. The #3908H University 20 PW Unit was drilled to 22,295 ft, 11,850 ft true vertical, and is producing from perforations at 12,009-22,104 ft. It flowed 997 bbl 43° API oil and 1.133 MMcf of gas per day from Upper Wolfcamp A. Tested on a 36/64-inch choke, the flowing tubing pressure was 1,265 psi and the flowing casing pressure 1,191 psi. The #3906H University 20 PW Unit has a total depth of 22,415 ft and a true vertical depth of 11,780 ft. It flowed 370 bbl 43° API oil with 401,000 cu ft of gas per day from Lower Wolfcamp A perforations at 12,048-22,250 ft. Gauged on a 28/64-inch choke, the flowing tubing pressure was 759 psi and the flowing casing pressure was 386 psi. In nearby Two Georges Field, the #3907H University 20 TG Unit was drilled to 21,960 ft (11,664 ft true vertical) and was perforated at 12,013- 21,793 ft. It initially flowed 1,033 bbl 43° API oil with 1.161 MMcf of gas per day from Upper Wolfcamp A. Tested on a 36/64-inch choke, the flowing tubing pressure was 1,110 psi and the flowing casing pressure was 1,070 psi.
