Drilling Activity Summary

Description

PDC Energy Inc. announced results from three Weld County, Colo., wells drilled at a pad in Section 23-7n-66w. The #1N MTD was completed after 43-stage fracturing producing 129 bbl of 44° API oil, 263,000 cu ft of gas and 281 bbl of water from commingles perforations in Codell (8,494-8,683 ft); Fort Hays (8,683-9,115 ft); and Niobrara (9,115-16,083 ft). It was drilled to 16,084 ft, 7,310 ft true vertical. The #3N MTD flowed 132 bbl of 44° API oil, 115,000 cu ft of gas and 109 bbl of water per day from Niobrara after 41-stage fracturing. Drilled to 15,741 ft, the true vertical depth is 7,281 ft. Gauged on a 22/64-inch choke, the flowing tubing pressure was 289 psi, and the flowing casing pressure was 1,018 psi. The #4N MTD was drilled to 15,619 ft, and the true vertical depth is 7,305 ft. It was tested after 42-stage fracturing flowing 168 bbl of 44° API oil, with 175,000 cu ft of gas and 380 bbl of water per day from Niobrara. Production is from perforations at 8,015-15,616 ft. Gauged on a 20/64-inch choke, the flowing tubing pressure was 423, and the flowing tubing pressure was 1,024 psi. PDC’s headquarters are in Denver.
