Description

In Midland County (RRC Dist. 8), Texas, Chevron Corp. reported three Lower Spraberry-Spraberry Field wells. The ventures were drilled from a single pad in T&P RR Co Survey, A-201. The #261LS CMC Tiger Unit was drilled to 19,880 ft, 9,073 ft true vertical and was kicked off at 8,407 ft. It flowed 1,785 bbl of 44.7° API oil and 1.139 MMcf of gas daily from perforations at 9,475-19,751 ft. Tested on an unreported choke size, the flowing tubing pressure was 276 psi.  The #263LS CMC Tiger Unit has a total depth of 19,903 ft and a true vertical depth of 9,087 ft with a kick-off point at 8,520 ft. It produced 1,505 bbl of 44.7° API oil with 660,000 cu ft of gas per day from perforations at 9,478-19,778 ft. Tested on an unreported choke size, the flowing tubing pressure was 207 psi. The #263LS CMC Tiger Unit pumped 1,189 bbl of 44.7° API oil and 970,000 cu ft of gas per day. Production is from a perforated zone at 9,646-19,947 ft. The well was drilled to 20,070 ft, 9,073 ft true vertical with and the flowing tubing pressure was 290 psi. Chevron’s headquarters are in Houston.
