Description

In Montana’s Richland County, Kraken Operating announced results from three Middle Bakken completions that were drilled from an Elm Coulee Northeast Field pad in Section 11-25n-58e. The #2H Taylor 14-23 was drilled to 20,802 ft (10,424 ft true vertical). It was tested after acidizing and fracturing flowing 912 bbl of oil, 662,000 cu ft of gas and 2,484 bbl of water per day. Production is from a perforated zone at 10,690-20,731 ft with a flowing tubing pressure of 450 psi. About 50 ft to the south, #3H Taylor 14-23 was drilled to 20,636 ft (10,388 ft true vertical) and flowed 921 bbl of oil, 582,000 cu ft of gas and 2,415 bbl of water per day. Production is from perforations at 10,520-20,569 ft with a flowing casing pressure of 450 psi. The #4H Taylor 14-23 was drilled to 20,873 ft (10,393 ft true vertical) and flowed 1,005 bbl of oil, 636,000 cu ft of gas and 2,592 bbl of water daily after acidizing and fracturing at 10,765-20,802 ft. The flowing casing pressure was 475 psi. Kraken’s headquarters are in Houston.
