Description

Three Bradford County, Pa., Marcellus wells were completed in Herrick Field by Oklahoma City-based Chesapeake Operating Inc. The wells were drilled from a pad in Section 7, Laceyville 7.5 Quad, Wyalusing Township. The #5HC Brown Homestead has a total depth of 17,314 ft and a true vertical depth of 7,248 ft. It had a 24-hour flow rate of 48.644 MMcf of gas after 51-stage fracturing with a shut-in Casing pressure of 3,434 psi. Production is from perforations at 7,237-17,299 ft. The #106HC Brown Homestead was drilled to 18,120 ft (7,251 ft true vertical. It produced 44.238 MMcf of gas per day from perforations at 7,508-18,106 after 31-stage fracturing. The shut-in casing pressure was 3,414 psi. The #4HC Brown Homestead was drilled to 17,176 ft (7,275 ft true vertical). It was tested after fracturing (49 stages) flowing 38.819 MMcf of gas per day. Production is from perforations at 7,429-17,161 ft and the shut-in casing pressure was 3,409 psi
