A Dunn County, N.D., Three Forks producer was completed by WPX Energy Inc. The #6-34HW Meadowlark is in Heart Butte Field and was drilled to 20,682 ft and the true vertical depth is 10,568 ft. Located in Section 27-149n-92w, it initially flowed 2,065 bbl of 42° API oil, 1.224 MMcf of gas and 593 bbl of water per day from a perforated zone at 10,993-20,566 ft. Tested on a 32/64-inch choke, the flowing casing pressure was 1,900 psi. WPX Energy was acquired by Devon Energy Corp. in a transaction that closed in January 2021.
