In Divide County, N.D., Hunt Oil Co. completed a Three Forks horizontal exploratory test that initially flowed 250 bbl. of oil, 30,000 cu. ft. of gas and 496 bbl. of water per day. Located in Section 26-161n-100w, #1-26-35H Alexandria produces from a horizontal Three Forks lateral extending from 9,233 ft. southward to 18,697 ft. The well bottomed in Section 35-161n-100w. It was tested on a 36/64-in. choke following 25-stage fracture stimulation between 9,730 and 18,530 ft. using the perf-and-plug technique. The true vertical depth is 8,985 ft. Hunt is based in Houston.
