Description

According to IHS Markit, Lime Rock Resources of Houston has completed three extended-reach horizontal Bakken producers in the Murphy Creek Field area in Dunn County, N.D. The wells were drilled on the company’s Rebsom lease on a common drillpad in Section 11-143n-95w and all three completions bottomed to the south in Section 23-143n-95w. The #3-14-23H-143-95 Rebsom initially flowed 569 bbl of 42-degree-gravity oil, 62 Mcf of gas and 926 bbl of water per day from a horizontal Bakken interval at 11,007-20,430 ft. It was tested on an 18/64-in. choke following 10-stage fracturing. The Bakken lateral was drilled to 20,675 ft. The #4-14-23H-143-95 Rebsom flowed 683 bbl of oil per day, with 166 Mcf of gas and 1.953 Mbbl of water. It was drilled to 20,725 ft, 10,270 ft true vertical. Production is from a horizontal Middle Bakken interval at 10,827-20,515 ft after a 40-stage fracturing and was tested on an 18/64-in. choke. The #5-14-23H-143-95 Rebsom was completed flowing 415 bbl of oil, 144 Mcf of gas and 1.419 Mbbl of water per day. Production is from a Middle Bakken lateral drilled to 21,030 ft, 10,277 ft true vertical. It was tested a 16/64-in. choke after 40-stage fracturing between 11,022 and 20,788 ft.
