Description

Apache Corp. has completed three horizontal Bone Spring wells in the Winchester West Field portion of Eddy County, N.M. The wells were drilled from a pad in Section 21-19s-28e. The #228H Palmillo 21 State Com flowed 1.071 Mbbl of 44.8-degree-gravity crude, 1.267 MMcf of gas and 1.864 Mbbl of water per day after 26-stage fracture stimulation of Second Bone Spring at 7,531-11,943 ft. It was drilled to 13,370 ft, 8,526 ft true vertical, on the Carlsbad Shelf of the Permian Basin. The offsetting #326H Palmillo 21 State Com produced from Third Bone Spring at 8,661-13,207 ft. It initially flowed 693 bbl of oil, 1.649 MMcf of gas and 3.345 Mbbl of water daily after a 27-stage fracturing. It was drilled to 13,344 ft (8,529 ft true vertical). From a pad about one-quarter mile to the south in Section 21, #324H Palmillo 21 State Com was tested flowing 753 bbl of crude, 1.601 MMcf of gas and 3 Mbbl of water per day from Third Bone Spring. It was acidized and fractured with is producing from perforations at 8,669-13,233 ft. Drilled to the east to 13,370 ft, the true vertical depth is 8,526 ft.
