Description

On the Carlsbad Shelf of the Permian Basin, Chisholm Energy Operating LLC has completed three horizontal Bone Spring wells in Buffalo Southeast Field from a shared drillpad in Section 2-19s-33e Lea County, N.M. According to IHS Markit, #002H Buffalo West 2 State Com 2BS had an initial potential of 414 bbl of 40-degree-gravity oil, 255 Mcf of gas and 628 bbl of water per day from perforations at 10,220-14,811 ft. It was tested after 22-stage fracturing. It was drilled to 14,900 ft with a horizontal leg that bottomed within 1 mile to the south at a true vertical depth of 9,888 ft. The offsetting #003H Buffalo West 2 State Com 2BS was tested after a 21-stage fracturing at 10,061-14,440 ft. It initially flowed 490 bbl of 40-degree-gravity crude, 172 Mcf of gas and 586 bbl of water per day. The parallel lateral was drilled to 14,575 ft, 9,915 ft true vertical. The #004H Buffalo West 2 State Com 2BS was tested for 567 bbl of oil, 335 Mcf of gas and 837 bbl of water per day. Production is from perforations at 10,535-15,155 following 22-stage fracturing. The 15,180-ft well bottomed to the south and the true vertical depth is 9,977 ft. Chisholm’s headquarters are in Fort Worth.
