A Strawn discovery has apparently opened a new pool in an abandoned Texas field. Located in Fisher County (RRC Dist. 7B), Texas, Clear Fork Inc.’s #1 Don Gruben 58 pumped 43 bbl of 41-degree-gravity crude and 2.7 Mbbl of water per day from fracture-treated perforations at 6,328-62 ft. The P-J Field well was drilled to 7,076 ft and is in Section 58, Block 2, H&TC RR Co Survey, A-1277, on the Eastern Shelf of the Permian Basin. Clear Fork is based in Abilene, Texas.
