Southwestern Energy Co., Houston, completed a western Delaware Basin discovery in the abandoned COV Field area in northeastern Culberson County (RRC 8), Texas. The #701 Dela Minerals 3 State was tested flowing 450,000 cu. ft. of gas a day from Morrow. Flowing tubing pressure was gauged at 4,218 psi on a 32/64-in. choke. The well is in Section 7, Block 114, PSL (C.J. Cochran) Survey, A-404, over 20 miles southwest of Orla.
