Drilling Activity Summary

Description

Two horizontal producers were reported by Fort Worth, Texas-based Southland Royalty Co. in Tierney Field on the northeastern flank of the Washakie Basin in Carbon County, Wyo. The discoveries were drilled from a drillpad in Section 7-19n-93w and are producing from the Middle Almond member of Mesaverde. The #7-A3H Tierney E5 flowed 3.196 MMcf of gas, 264 bbl of 50.8-degree-gravity condensate and 1.032 Mbbl of water per day. Production is from a horizontal lateral extending from 10,369 ft to the southwest to 14,746 ft (9,852 ft true vertical). It was tested on a 26/64-in. choke following 18-stage fracturing (plug-and-perf) between 10,169 and 13,663 ft with a flowing casing pressure of 2,150 psi. The #7-A4H Tierney E5 produced 4.235 MMcf of gas, 384 bbl of 50.8-degree-gravity condensate and 7.864 Mbbl of water per day from Mesaverde. Production is from a lateral extending from 10,252 ft to the southeast to 14,462 ft with a true vertical depth of 9,902 ft. It was tested on a 26/64-in. choke after 21-stage fracturing between 10,090 and 14,395 ft.
