Drilling Activity Summary

Description

ConocoPhillips has proposed drilling up to six new wells within the Colville River Unit on its Qannik prospect north of Nuiqsut, Alaska. The permits also seek permission to install associated infrastructure at the Colville Delta No. 2 (CD2) pad. All project work will be done on the pad in Section 2-11n-4e, Umiat Meridian. The CD2 pad is located approximately 2.5 miles west of the CD1 pad. On the CD-1 pad in early 2009, the Houston-based company completed #468-CD2 Colville River Qannik in Section 2-11n-4e. It has since produced 1.05 MMbbl of oil, 828.6 MMcf of gas and 104.345 Mbbl of water from a Qannik zone. It was horizontally drilled northward to 17,850 ft (4,071 ft true vertical) and it bottomed in Section 23-12n-4e.
