Description
Questar Corp., according to IHS Markit, has permitted six directional tests on the flank of its Green River Basin drilling program in Sweetwater County, Wyo. The #22-8 Trail Buffer will be drilled to 7,880 ft (7,568 ft true vertical) in Section 22-13n-100w. It will target gas in Mesaverde. The offsetting #22-15 Trail Buffer, #22-16 Trail Buffe and #32-5 Trail Buffer have respective proposed depths of 8,012 ft (7,620 ft true vertical), 7,769 ft (7,651 ft true vertical) and 7,956 ft (7,545 ft true vertical). Two more tests, #143 Trail Unit and #147 Trail Unit, have also been permitted from offsetting locations. Respective proposed total depths are 8,117 ft (7,507 ft true vertical) and 7,880 ft (7,561 ft true vertical). All six of the wells will target Mesaverde and bottom in Section 22, except #32-5 Trail Buffer that will bottom in adjacent Section 23-13n-100w. Questar’s headquarters are in Salt Lake City.
