Description

Royal Dutch Shell reported a hydrocarbon discovery in the Browse Basin-Ashmore Cartier area of the Timor Sea. The #1-West Auriga is in the AC/RL9 permit area near Crux Field Area water depth is 150-200 m and it was drilled to 3,960 m. Additional testing is planned. The Hague-based Shell is the operator of the AC/L9 permit and the Auriga discovery well with 82% interest in partnership with Seven Nexus with 15%, and Osaka Gas with the remaining 3%.
