Southwestern Production Corp. completed a Shannon Sand well on the southwestern flank of the Powder River Basin. The #44-22V BFU is in Section 22-35n-76w of Converse County, Wyo. The discovery initially pumped 100 bbl of 42-degree-gravity oil, 24 Mcf of gas and 53 bbl of water per day. Production is from fractured perforations at 7,269-91 ft. It was vertically drilled to 7,500 ft. Southwestern is based in Lakewood, Colo.
