Description

In the eastern Scurry County (RRC Dist. 8A), Texas, portion of Garden City South Field, Clear Fork Inc. has completed a horizontal producer. IHS Markit reported that #1H Great Smoky 139, which was initially drilled by Browning Oil Co., was tested pumping 350 bbl of 41° API crude and 340,000 cu ft of gas per day through perforations ranging from Wolfcamp at 6,273 ft to Strawn at 11,826 ft. The well was drilled to 11,905 ft and is in Section 139, Block 3, H&TC RR Co Survey, A-662, on the Eastern Shelf of the Permian Basin. The lateral was drilled out of a 7,404-ft pilot hole and the true vertical depth is 7,182 ft with a bottomhole about 1 mile to the north-northwest.
