Description

A horizontal Gallup exploratory test was completed by Denver-based Enduring Resources LLC in the San Juan Basin. The Sandoval County, N.M., discovery, #353H South Escavada Unit, initially flowed 456 bbl of oil, 170 Mcf of gas and 864 bbl of water per day. Production is from a Gallup lateral drilled to the northwest to 11,051 ft and bottomed in Section 22-22n-7w. The planned true vertical depth was 4,743 ft. It was tested on a 49/64-in. choke following 11-stage fracture stimulation between 5,438 and 10,875 ft with a flowing tubing pressure of 167 psi. According to IHS Markit, it’s the first producer on the South Escavada Unit. The company also has horizontally drilled #352H South Escavada Unit from same drillpad. It was drilled to the northwest in Gallup to 11,962 ft. Additional details are not currently available.
