Description

IHS Markit reported that Walsh Petroleum Inc. completed a horizontal San Andres producer on the Northwestern Shelf of the Permian Basin in Yoakum County, (RRC Dist. 8A), Texas. The Brahaney Field well, #1H Byrd 30, was tested on pump flowing 77 bbl of 30-degree-gravity oil, 70 Mcf of gas and 2.539 Mbbl of water per day. The producer was drilled to 10,528 ft, 5,293 ft true vertical, on a 640-acre lease in Section 337, Block D, John H. Gibson Survey, A-203 and the lateral bottomed to the north in Section 306. Production is from acid- and fracture-stimulated perforations at 5,635-10,470. Walsh’s headquarters are in Midland, Texas.
