Description
IHS reported that a horizontal San Andres well in Shafter Lake North Field was completed by CrownQuest Operating LLC in the Andrews County (RRC Dist. 8), Texas, portion of the Permian Basin. The #1H Offshoot 20 was drilled to 9,437 ft. The southeast-trending lateral bottomed at a true vertical depth of 4,690 ft. It was tested on gas lift flowing 72 bbl of 41-degree-gravity oil, 14 Mcf of gas and 1.867 Mbbl of water per day. Production is from fractured perforations at 4,940-9,342 ft. It is on a 649.2-acre lease in Section 20, Block A34, PSL Survey, A-1693. CrownQuest's headquarters are in Midland, Texas.
