Description
Canadian, Texas-based Hadaway Engineering Inc. has completed a horizontal San Andres well in Chaves County, N.M. on the Northwestern Shelf of the Permian Basin. The #002H Muirfield pumped 119 bbl of 19-degree-gravity crude, 86 Mcf of gas and 754 bbl of water per day from 3,103-7,540 ft after 20-stage fracturing. The pilot hole was drilled to 3,100 ft in Section 18-10s-29e. The lateral bottomed within 1 mile to the south. It was drilled to 7,550 ft, and the true vertical depth is 2,829 ft. The well will be the first horizontal producer in abandoned Race Track East Field.
