In Section 7-15n-2e in Colusa County, Calif., a Lario Oil & Gas Co. well, #1-7 Morrow, intersected pay in the Forbes at approximately 5,940-60 ft. According to the Denver-based company, logs of the North Sacramento Basin well show about 20 ft. of gas pay with significant reserves. Tests indicate the well is capable of sustained production of approximately 5 million cu. ft. of gas per day, and the current wellhead pressure is greater than 3,000 psi. Additional completion information is not available. Delta Oil & Gas owns a 25% gross working interest in the well. Lario and Delta control approximately 900 acres of land in the area and plan to evaluate additional drillsites. The Lario-operated well offsets a Forbes discovery completed in 2009: #7-1 Goddard was directionally drilled to 6,200 ft. and tested flowing 2.45 million cu. ft. of gas per day from unreported perforations.
