Description

Two Haynesville Shale producers were reported by Houston-based Sabine Oil & Gas LLC in Sabine County (RRC Dist. 6), Texas. The #3H Dunaway Gas Unit was tested producing 8.295 MMcf of gas and 1.145 Mbbl of water per day through fracture-treated perforations at 11,150-15,907 ft. Gauged on a 23/64-in. choke, the flowing casing pressure was 4,813 psi and the shut-in casing pressure was 5,809 psi. The 16,064-ft (10,826 ft true vertical) Carthage Field well is on a 1,992-acre East Texas lease in the George Gillaspy Survey, A-223 and it bottomed a mile to the southwest. The offsetting #4H Dunaway Gas Unit flowed 11.173 MMcf of gas and 1.332 Mbbl of water per day through fracture-treated perforations at 11,166-16,021 ft. Tested on a 24/64-in. choke, the flowing casing pressure was 5,187 psi and the shut-in casing pressure was 6,113 psi. The 16,142-ft well has a true vertical depth of 10,777 ft and it bottomed a mile to the southeast.
