In Panola County (RRC Dist. 6), Texas, Houston-based Sabine Oil & Gas Corp. completed a Haynesville Shale well, #1H Lake Alexander (AW). The Carthage Field well was tested flowing 18.451 MMcf of gas and 1,983 bbl of water daily after fracturing. The 20,049-ft venture has a true vertical depth of 11,006 ft. It was tested on a 28/64-inch choke and had a flowing casing pressure of 6,004 psi and a shut-in casing pressure of 6,523 psi. Production is from perforations at 11,305-20,009 ft.
