Description
IHS Markit reported that two offsetting DC Comics-themed oil wells have been completed by Rosewood Resources in the Gonzales County (RRC Dist. 1), Texas, portion of Eagleville Field. The discoveries were drilled from a pad in Isaac D. Bradley Survey, A-99. The #1H Batman was tested on gas lift flowing 465 bbl of 37.6-degree-gravity crude, 73 Mcf of gas and 880 bbl of water per day. Fracture-treated perforations are at 9,752-15,279 ft. The well was drilled to 16,460 ft and the lateral bottomed at a true vertical depth of 9,075 ft about 1.5 miles to the north-northwest in Allen B. Williams Survey, A-79. The parallel #1H Robin initially flowed 778 bbl of 38.4-degree-gravity oil, 228 Mcf of gas and 870 bbl of water from fracture-stimulated perforations at 9,702-17,209 ft. Total depth is 17,338 ft (9,206 ft true vertical) with a bottomhole to the north.
