Description
A horizontal Gallup oil well in the San Juan Basin was completed by Denver-based DJR Operating. The San Juan County, N.M., venture, #720H Betonnie Tsosie Wash Unit, was tested on gas lift flowing 394 bbl of 41.2-degree-gravity oil, 673,000 cu ft of gas and 673 bbl of water per day. The well was tested after 46-stage fracturing at 5,392-14,563 ft. The 14,632-ft Betonnie Tsosie Wash Field well is in Section 3-22n-8w and it bottomed about 2 miles to the northwest in Section 28-23n-8w with a true vertical depth of 4,873 ft. The offsetting #717H Betonnie Tsosie Wash Unit has also been tested, although no details are available.
