Rosehill Resources Inc. announced results from horizontal Wolfcamp wildcat in the Delaware Basin portion of Lea County, N.M. The #001H Tatanka Federal was tested flowing 311 bbl of oil, 374 Mcf of gas and 2.246 Mbbl of water per day. The 17,163-ft well has a true vertical depth of 12,532. It was tested on a 1-in. choke after 28-stage fracturing between 12,845 and 16,856 ft with a shut-in casing pressure of 4,026 psi. It bottomed in Section 11-26s-35e. The horizontal leg bottomed almost a mile to the north at a true vertical depth of 12,532 ft. Rosehill is based in Houston.
