Northwoods Operating LLC announced results from a two-section horizontal Frontier producer on the southwestern flank of the Powder River Basin. The #3976-12-1-1FH Charger-Federal is in Section 13-39n-76w in Converse County, Wyo., It initially flowed 332 bbl of 44-degree-gravity oil, 931 Mcf of gas and 612 bbl of water per day. Production is from a horizontal lateral in Frontier extending from 13,205 ft north-northwestward to 23,146 ft. The well bottomed in Section 1-39n-76w with a true vertical depth of 12,877 ft. It was tested on an 18/64-in. choke following 31-syage fracturing between 9,752 and 22,993 ft. The discovery by the Denver-based operator is on the White Lightning (Deep) Federal Unit.
