Description
Amerisur Resources announced results from a T Sand interval test at #1-Pintadillo in the Platanillo Block in Colombia. Tested on an 18/64-in. choke, the well flowed 590 bbl of 30.4-degree-gravity oil with a wellhead pressure of 110 psi. A 9-ft interval was perforated within the 15 ft of net pay identified in T Sand. After additional testing, Amerisur may install a downhole pump. The company also plans to re-map the T and U sand targets across this part of block to evaluate the size of the discovery. Currently no T-sand or U-sand reserves are attributed to this part of the block. Amerisur’s headquarters are in Cardiff, Wales.
