Drilling Activity Summary

Description

According to IHS Markit, Resonance Exploration LLC has completed a trilateral horizontal exploratory test flowing 552 bbl of oil and 480 bbl of water per day from three laterals in Spearfish. The #3-32H Resonance-Lodoen is in Section 32-163n-80w of Bottineau County, N.D. One lateral was drilled northward to 7,339 ft, 3,399 ft true vertical, and bottomed in Section 29-163n-80w. A second lateral was drilled northeastward to 6,168 ft, 3,416 ft true vertical, and bottomed in Section 29-163n-80w. A third lateral was drilled northwestward to 7,254 ft, 3,407 ft true vertical, and bottomed in Section 29-163n-80w. The trilateral producer has been incorporated into the Westhope-Spearfish/Madison pool. A second Spearfish discovery is about 1 mile to the northwest at #16-19H Resonance-Ballantyne, which initially produced 303 bbl of 43.2-degree-gravity oil and 84 bbl of water per day. It was drilled in Section 19-163n-80w and is producing from a horizontal lateral and a sidetrack. The horizontal lateral was drilled from 3,847 ft to the north to a total depth of 7,765 ft (3,392 ft true vertical). The horizontal sidetrack was drilled off the original hole from a kick-off point at 5,013 ft to the northwest to 8,102 ft, 3,397 ft true vertical. Resonance Exploration is based in Calgary.
