The #2-Strickland is west of Juna Field and the objective is to test for hydrocarbons in a Darai Limestone reservoir. The onshore venture will test a four-way dip closed anticlinal trap. Repsol, based in Madrid, is the operator of PRL269 and #2-Strickland with 50% interest in partnership with Barracuda Ltd, holding 30%, Oil Search with 10%, and Diamond Gas Foreland with 10%.
