Description
In De Soto Parish, La., Chesapeake Operating Inc. completed two Haynesville Shale-Red River Bull Bayou discoveries from a pad in Section 5-12n-11w. The #1-Alt Nabors Properties 32&29-13-11 HC produced 32.78 MMcf of gas and 349 bbl of water per day. Production is from perforations at 12,486-22,462 ft. Drilled to 23,494 ft, 13,103 ft true vertical, it bottomed in Section 29-13n-11w. It was tested on a 30/64-in. choke and the flowing casing pressure was 7,923 psi. The #1-Alt Nabors Properties 5&8-12-11 HC was drilled to 22,284 ft, 11,755 true vertical and bottomed in Section 8-12n-11w. It was tested flowing 18.84 MMcf of gas, 270 bbl of water. Gauged on a 22/64-in. choke, the flowing casing pressure was 8,230 psi from perforations at 12,424-19,866 ft.
