Drilling Activity Summary

Description

ExTech Operating LLC has recompleted a Newport South Field well that was initially drilled by the operator in 2018. The Fort Worth Basin well, #1 McDonald, is in Montague County (RRC Dist. 9), Texas. It was tested flowing 250 bbl of 42-degree-gravity oil, 400 Mcf of gas and 20 bbl of water per day from Pennsylvanian. It was plugged back to 6,002 ft and was drilled to a total depth of 6,911 ft and the workover was tested through acid- and fracture-treated perforations at 5,716-5,950 ft. Gauged on an 18/64-in. choke, the flowing tubing pressure was 850 psi. The well originally produced from acidized perforations at 6,011-44 ft in Bend Conglomerate flowing 25 bbl of oil, 150 Mcf of gas and 10 bbl of water per day. It is on a 358.7-acre lease in Section 50, ET RR Co Survey, A-1601. ExTech is based in Fort Worth.
