Description
Range Resources Corp. has completed two high-volume Cotton Valley gas wells in Terryville Field. The wells were drilled from offsetting locations in Section 24-19n-5w in Lincoln Parish, La., and bottomed to the south. According to IHS Markit, #1 Sumlin 24-25-36H was tested flowing 21.819 MMcf of gas per day through perforations at 11,703-20,303 ft. It was tested on a 1-in. choke with a flowing casing pressure of 1,975 psi. The well was drilled it to 20,418 ft, 12,101 ft true vertical. The offsetting #2 Sumlin 24-25-36H is producing 30.625 MMcf of gas per day from perforations at 11,892-20,494 ft. Gauged on a 66/64-in. choke, the flowing casing pressure was 1,990 psi. It was drilled to 20,615 ft, 11,986 ft true vertical. Range is based in Fort Worth, Texas.
