Description

QEP Resources Inc. has completed two extended-lateral Haynesville producers in Red River Parish, La. According to IHS Markit, the Woodardville Field producers were drilled from offsetting surface locations in Section 3-14n-9w and both laterals bottomed 2 miles to the north in Bienville Parish in Section 22-15n-9w. The #1 Batchelor 34-27-22H flowed 27.296 MMcf of gas per day from fractured perforations at 12,489-23,125 ft. Tested on a 28/64-in choke, the flowing casing pressure was 7,620 psi, and it was drilled to 23,219 ft, 12,917 ft true vertical. The #2 Batchelor 34-27-22H was tested flowing 29.063 MMcf of gas per day from a fracture-stimulated zone at 12,352-22,974 ft. It was drilled to 22,729 ft and the true vertical depth is 12,199 ft. Gauged on a 28/64-in. choke, the flowing casing pressure was 7,740 psi. Total depth is 22,729 ft. QEP’s headquarters are in Denver.
